| On Monday morning LCC received a call from Deaconess Intern Cindy Lumley, the Assistant Director of Deaconess Studies at Fort Wayne Seminary. She asked if LCC had another shipment of supplies for Haiti going out soon. The Deaconess Students at the Seminary had coordinated a collection. Donations were brought in by the Seminary students and faculty as well as the wider Fort Wayne Community. They collected enough items from the collection list to fill eight pallets. This week these pallets will be shipped by JAT of Fort Wayne Indiana, free of charge, to the collection site at Risen Christ Lutheran Church in Fairport, New York. Once there it will be added to the sea container and shipped with the New York collection to Port Au Prince.
