LCC K-9 Parish Comfort Dogs at Street Fest in Palatine |
|
|
LCC K-9 Parish Comfort Dogs were invited by Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palatine to assist at their outreach booth at Street Fest in downtown Palatine Saturday and Sunday, August 28-29. A pack of LCC's K-9 Parish Comfort Dogs - Butter, Faith, Feurst, Hope, Leo, Star, Strudel, Tara, and Tillie - greeted individuals as they entered into the display tents for the Fest. Having the K-9 Parish Comfort Dogs at community events like this allows for evangelistic opportunities. The K-9s help to break down barriers and allow ministry conversations to take place. |
